【生機心行動】~ 112學年第一學期生物機電工程系期初系大會於2023年9月25日在生機系教學館辦理

本次期初系大會由系學會會長謝承晁主持。首先由系主任陳志堅教授進行報告，陳志堅主任介紹系學會成員給一年級新鮮人認識後，簡介系上的教學目標、大一大二的選修課程規定和師資陣容，並請同學多多利用系網頁獲得在學期間的相關學習資訊。
The president of the Student Association hosted this opening department meeting. First, Professor Jyh Jian Chen, the head of the department, gave a report. After introducing the members of the Student Association to the first-year students, he introduced the teaching objectives of the department, the elective course regulations for first- and second-year students, and the faculty lineup. He also asked students to use the department website for more relevant learning information during their studies.
接著系主任針對新學期所推動的「生機心行動」進行說明，內容包含國際師生的交流、學生競賽的鼓勵、獎助學金的增設、專業證照的培訓和機電科目的輔導等等，希望能在此系列行動的實踐中，能夠凝聚所有師生對本系所的向心力，並激勵同學對學業學習和技能提升的精進力。
Then, the head of the department explained the “Action: With a Vigorous Heart.” promoted in the new semester, which included exchanges between international teachers and students, encouragement of students to participate in competitions, the addition of scholarships and bursaries, training on professional certificates, guidance on electromechanical subjects, etc. The head hoped that this series of activities could gather the centripetal force of all teachers and students towards the department and inspire students to be more diligent in academic learning and skill improvement.
接著由屏科大農機生機系友會理事長黃共和先生致詞，黃理事長勉勵大一新鮮人儘早融入屏科大生機系的大家庭中，並承諾未來將研議、設置、推廣國立屏東科技大學生物機電工程系學生的國際交流獎學金，以培養本系學生國際觀，促進國際學術及文化交流，並鼓勵本系學生出國參與海外課程學習與技術研究等等的相關活動。
Then, the chairman of The Alumni Association delivered a speech. The chairman encouraged the first-year students to integrate into the family of the Department of Biomechatronics Engineering of NPUST as soon as possible and promised to establish and promote the international exchange scholarship for the department. It is to cultivate students’ global outlook in the department, promote international academic and cultural exchanges, and encourage students in the department to go abroad to participate in overseas course studies, technology research and other related activities.
生機系在2023年暑假期間，有兩個團隊執行了教育部的「學海築夢計畫」，他們分別前往泰國農業大學(Kasetsart University)和德國特里爾大學(University of Trier)進行暑假實習、課程修習和技術交換等等的學術交流活動。在本次系大會進行時，系主任也邀請了此計畫中兩個學海築夢團隊的王譽達、林中斌、謝閔凱與黃暐哲同學，及吳哲宇、邱子銘和李季函同學，跟與會的同學們分享了本次國際交流的難得經驗。築夢團隊提到在國外實習之具體效益，例如：提升了英文聽與說的能力、面對語言不通時的問題解決能力、可以更深入了解異國的飲食、生活與文化，以及實際去認識與探訪當地的歷史和古蹟，並且擴大增廣了自己的世界觀等等。
During the summer vacation of 2023, two teams implemented the Ministry of Education’s 112-year “Overseas Internship Program”. They went to Kasetsart University in Thailand and the University of Trier in Germany for summer internships and academic exchange activities such as course training and technology exchange. During this department meeting, the head of the department also invited students to attend the meeting. They shared their rare experience in this international exchange. The teams mentioned the specific benefits of an internship abroad, such as improved English listening and speaking skills, problem-solving skills when facing language barriers, a deeper understanding of exotic food, life and culture, and the ability to understand and visit local history and monuments, and expand your worldview, etc.
生機系利元芳教官進行交通安全、兩性平權和遠離毒品等重要事項的宣導，她希望大家能愛護自己和尊重他人。
Instructor Li of the department promoted essential issues such as traffic safety, gender equality and staying away from drugs. She hoped that everyone could love themselves and respect others.
